Introduction

Step 1:

Click the "Reservation" Link on the Top Navigation Bar to make a booking.

There are 3 links on the top navigation bar, these links change based on what options you have available to you. In the process of booking a stay the 3 links that you currently see will be available. Once you click on the "Admin" link you will be taken to the administration page of this demonstration where there will be 6 links. The 2 leftmost links are preceded by "<<" and take you back to this page or to the "Reservation" page. In the administration page you can change room names, room descriptions, tax rates, create custom messages and more.

Please click on the "Reservation" link above to see what it is like to book a stay as a guest. If you have already seen the administration page you will notice that the room names that appear in the "Suite" field are loaded from the room names in the administration page. Once you fill in a fake credit card number you will be taken to an information/disclaimer page where as the Bed & Breakfast Host you may place any relevant information.

Once your guest has filled in their information and accepts your disclaimer/information the BnB e-book software really gets put to work. The software does various checks to make sure your guests selected stay does not conflict with current bookings, and to make sure any days that must be booked together are respected. BnB e-book shows your guest available bookings around the time period they have selected, and the availablility of any other rooms you have. A simular process happens for days that must be booked as a block. If there are no conflicts then the software uses your administration settings to calculate the cost of their stay, to send them a confirmation email, to send the Bed & Breakfast Host a confirmation email with credit card information, to store the reservation, and to display a summary in their browser.
